Submission of Papers
ORAL presentation instructions
Oral communications can be presented in English or Spanish but using slides only in English.
All communications will last 20 minutes including oral presentation and questions.
POSTER presentation instructions
Poster size will be 90 cm width and 120 cm height. Posters should be written in English.
Every participant will be allowed to present a communication, that must be sent by e-mail before June 13th, 2008

1. A summary must be sent as an attachment
2. The text of the e-mail must detail the scientific areas chosen among those indicated below
a. Food Safety and Quality
b. Pharmaceutical Product Analysis
c. Proteomics
d. Environment Sciences
e. Developments in Analytics Instrumentation
f. Automation and miniaturization for chemical analysis
g. Industrial Process and Product Analysis
h. Nanotechnology
i. Speciation
j. Physical examination
k. Biosensors
l. Theoric contributions and chemometrics
m. Other areas related to Intrumentation Analysis
3. The subject of the email must be: “Paper submitted to 12th Conference on Instrumental Analysis”
4. Each summary must be sent as a separate file
Participants are requested to abide by the deadlines to facilitate the task of the Scientific Committee.
Abstract Guidelines
Each abstract should be submitted in a Word document, using not more than one-page DIN A4. The font should be "Times New Roman", size 11 pt for the text body and size 12pt bold, capital letters, for the headings. The abstract must be singled lined and all margins must be 3 cm.
Format of the Abstracts
- Title (size 12 pt bold Times New Roman, capital letters)
- Empty Line
- Author names, full address, telephone, fax and e-mail of the authors
- Empty line
- Text (size 11 pt Times New Roman)
- The text will be used to evaluate the scientific and technical relevance of the presentation. Pictures and bibliography can be included. Picture resolution must not exceed 300dpi.
It is recommended to submit the abstract in English
Publication of papers
The conference proceedings will be published and distributed to the participants with the final program.

Prizes
In collaboration with the participating Societies and manufacturer companies, the Scientific Committee will award prizes to the best poster presentations of the different topics. In addition, the Spanish Society on Chromatography and Related Techniques will give the IV Prize José Antonio García Dominguez to the best works for young researchers (for more details see the web site of SECyTA).
